maybe it would be better (if possible) to make a base xtreme skin for each car so that the original liveries are not used and mixed with ours. i think it would be better this way.

That is what we did... but exist (only detect today) a major bug in the MOD.

for sake of having colored wheel rims i made a complete team folder  for BPR team so i can have different TEAM.MAS file.
But is it allowed? or you have other solution?

U need change the name in Teamtext.mas (use MAS-Explorer to extract and create MAS files)
change for BPRcarnumbertext.mas
Next with notepad open:
Sauber_Spinner.gen and Sauber.gen and edit MASFile=TEAMTEXT.MAS

The line with MASFILE=BPRCARNUMERTEXT.MAS make save in both files.

For e.g. in my car is LSR07TEXT.MAS

here, i think maybe you guys need to make template for DRS wing or at least give us an example. im kinda unsure what is what when i open DRS wing dds file.

anyway one of mandatory sponsor logo wont be seen on track if DRS dds file still like that

Easy.. Use the MAS EXPLORER. Extract original teamtext for a folder. Copy the 3 DRS files in that car folder for the folder u create. Create again on teamtext.MAS with that files and put in the car you want.

NEXT
Use that exemple to create a DRS wing for your car, and create a texttext.mas, like i say in previous post something
"BPRcarnumbertext.MAS" and is ok

If u don´t understand tell want car you will use, and send me the files i can create a e.g.

Is it just me or 2012 cars stay all gray even after installing the templates?

When u install the mod u have Original cars and grey cars.
